Angela Marie Burtalato

New York University, The Steinhardt School of Culture, Education & Human Development.

Angela Burtulato is a 20 year old from Philadelphia and is a 2019 graduate of Girard Academic Music Program (GAMP). In the fall, she will be a junior at New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development, studying music education with a concentration in voice. Angela has performed in thirty-one musicals inside and outside of school since the age of seven. Throughout high school, she has performed in Concert Choir, Concert Band, Marching Band and the Philadelphia All City Choir. 


This year, Angela will serve as the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Collegiate Representative for Province 6 (New York City). At NYU, she is a member of NYU Chorale, is vice president of A Class Act NYU and the secretary for C-NAfME Chapter 22 (SMENYU). Angela is so excited and very grateful to continue on her path for her career as a music educator!
