Rozime Lindsey is a passionate young musician who seeks to share his voice with different groups of people every time he performs. He has recently graduated from the Girard Academic Music Program (GAMP) in which he improved exceptionally in their music department. This upcoming fall, he will be attending Boston University for voice performance, under the tutelage of Penelope Bitzas. While at GAMP, Rozime has had opportunities to sing for former Vice President Joe Biden, sing at Mayor Kenney’s Inauguration, as well as play the trombone for Pope Francis’ visit to Philadelphia.
Rozime has taken private voice lessons for the past two years, which inspired him to attend a 6 week program at Boston University Tanglewood Institute Young Artist Program intensive. At the intensive, Rozime was able to learn and soak up information on musicianship and pedagogy of his voice. Rozime is very excited to move to Boston this fall and he hopes to continue his musical journey to become a professional opera singer.
