Returning this fall from Philadelphia as a senior in vocal studies at The Eastman School of Music, Danielle Romano presently studies with Professor Anthony Dean Griffey. During her last three years at Eastman, Danielle has participated in productions of L'incoronazione di Poppea, Orfeo ed Euridice, and Don Giovanni. This upcoming winter Danielle will collaborate with both Eastman and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra’s production of The Mother Of Us All. In addition to performing, Danielle has worked backstage in costumes for two of Eastman’s productions, and plans to continue in the fall.

In Philadelphia, Danielle has sung under the baton of maestro Yannick Nézet Séguin, and has previously been seen in Girard Academic Music Program’s musical productions of West Side Story, Shrek The Musical, and Fiddler on the Roof. Danielle has performed internationally with Umbrian Serenades in Spain, and throughout Italy with the Philadelphia International Opera Theater, and the Philadelphia All City Orchestra. Danielle continues to play both the piano and viola in her free time. She looks forward to her continued studies at Eastman, and would like to recognize supporters including the Florencia M. Mack Scholarship Award, GAMP Home and School Music Scholarship, and the Milicia Award for their continued contributions to her music education. Danielle would also like to thank her parents for their continuous love and support.
