Tristan Bouyer

Esther Boyer College of Music, Temple University, Philadelphia, PA

Tristan Bouyer is a third-year music student at Temple University, currently studying with Charlie Rosmarin and Phillip O’Banion. At Temple, he is the recipient of the Boyer College Award, Glenn Steele Award, and Florencia M. Mack Scholarship Award. He has had the pleasure of performing with many regional groups in the Northeast, including Symphony in C, Inscape Chamber Orchestra, and VoxAmaDeus. He’s had the opportunity to perform in many fantastic concert venues, including Marian Anderson Hall in Philadelphia, Seiji Ozawa Hall in

Lenox, and the NOSPR Concert Hall in Katowice.

 

On top of this, he was selected in past years for many fellowship programs, most notably the National Orchestral Institute Fellowship, Texas Music Festival Fellowship, All-City Philadelphia Orchestra Fellowship. Additional summer engagements include the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. He has been fortunate enough to perform in masterclasses with Eric Shin, William Hudgins, and Charlie Rosmarin, and work under many great conductors, including Marin Alsop, JoAnne Falletta, and John Morris Russell. Upcoming engagements including a concerto performance with the Columbia Symphony Orchestra. Tristan hopes to become a percussionist in a major orchestra.

The Florencia M. Mack Educational Fund Inc. is a 501c(3) Non-Profit Organization which was established on August 1, 2016. The mission of TFMMEF Inc.is to preserve the legacy of Florencia M. Mack by promoting the study of music.
